Two EU-funded films won Silver Bears at Berlinale

Two films supported by the Creative Europe –MEDIA programme were awarded a Silver Bear at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), one of the world's leading film festivals.

- The Commune (Kollektivet), a co-production from Denmark, Sweden and The Netherlands directed by Thomas Vinterberg, won the Silver Bear for Best Actress for Trine Dyrholm

- United States of Love (Zjednoczone Stany Miłosci) directed by Tomasz Wasilewski won the Silver Bear for Best Script. This film was co-produced by Poland and Sweden.
