EU Ambassador Schweisgut receives German work of art for Europa House

As part of an ongoing scheme whereby member states of the European Union contribute a work of art representing their respective countries on loan or as a donation to decorate the EU Delegation's Europa House building EU Ambassador Hans Dietmar Schweisgut received on 31 January 2013, Mr Stefan Herzberg, charge d'affaires, a.i., and Mr Jonatan Weinberg, First Secretary for Cultural Affairs, at the German Embassy Tokyo for the handover of a pair of sculptures by German artist Pia Gruber created during her stay in Japan on an artist-in-residence programme at The Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park. The sculptures, entitled "Another Point of View", were installed in the atrium between the public space and the office wing at Europa House.
