EU High Representative/Vice President Federica Mogherini to visit Japan for G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting

Federica Mogherini, European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, will visit Japan on 10 and 11 April to represent the EU at the G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting to be held in the city of Hiroshima. It will be her second visit to Japan in her current capacity, after taking part in the 23rd EU-Japan Summit in May 2015.

The EU is a full member of the G7, together with Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, and takes part in all ministerial meetings as well as the G7 Summit.
